Here's something for those who like to tinker and/or fancy themselves an amateur watchmaker. Submitted for your consideration is a 1966 Seiko Sportsmatic (36.5mm) that's been in my collection for a long time, but ultimately I hardly wore it. As a side note, it's almost identical to a silver dialed variant which will I will never sell. This watch was made in June 1966 and is powered by the 7S26. Okay, a couple of things, this watch was serviced about 20yrs ago and still keeps pretty good time. The dial is in fantastic condition except for one small detail. The applied logo is a tad wonky given the O in Seiko is drooping a bit. For those with a delicate touch, this could be remedied without too much effort I reckon. The hardlex crystal has some scratches and should probably be replaced. The price? $150 CAD including shipping. Paypal is preferred. and references are available upon request. Thanks for looking
