I was searching for months for a complete 6139 Pogue.
It's surprisingly harder than you think. There are a ton of offerings out there.... most of them hacked apart by now.
They are 45-50yrs old.
So, after doing all the legwork for you... I offer my 1972 Pogue for a little less than what I have into it.
The WUS and ebay stuff was dodgy at best. Everyone claims "just serviced" but nobody can prove said servicing.
Many try and claim their bracelet's are original but the end links are not correct or the clasp was subbed out or a replica was used.
Crazy.
The specifics of my watch
41mm
This is the no markings 17j Yellow dial
Water Resistant (under no circumstances would that be considered water resistant by me today, it's been opened for photos - if you need a true water resistant offering, you will have to pay Ashton to perform that)
The movement looks clean enough and has been keeping time, but to what level of accuracy I can't say for sure. Chrono snaps back to 12 most times, but it can be off by a touch now and then. These photos were taken this morning and it's right at 12.
Inner dive bezel rotates silky smooth.
Bracelet has all the links I was provided. There is stretch, but surprisingly less than anything else I found out there.
Case back is engraved and worn with R.W. RO....... you can see this in the photo's if you look closely
Serial Number is 6 digit - 2D7113 which from my deciphering makes it a December 1972
I've done my best to represent proper photo's, description of my watch and a variety of lighting angles so you can see anything you are looking for.
If I've missed something, send a note and it should be easy enough to provide.
I like this watch.
I do prefer larger pieces, and was hoping for a birth year watch.... which this is close, but off by enough time (pun intended) that it bugs me.
Nothing else about it bothers me.
Its retroAF
Ugly to some, but so cool and so not a zillion dollars for vintage.
Willing to ship at actual Flagship cost to the buyer.
I'm into it for $1288 with all duties/customs blahblahblah
Will sell for $1200
if that doesn't happen, I'll learn to get over the fact that it's not a birth year and wear the heck out of it.
Local F2F mask to mask ok if you are in Ottawa.
On to the pics....
