Hi,

Up for sale is a very well maintained and in great condition Tudor Sub, 79090. The serial # of this watch puts it around 1993 production. This watch has a flawless dial and hands and is a beautiful eggshell colour. The watch is running well and comes with box, card holder, extra bracelet link and "faux" paperwork. The previous owner thought it would be kinda cool to source original Tudor Sub paperwork as a nice to have. The serial # does not match the one on the watch, so it is not original to this watch but it is official Tudor Sub paperwork.

A couple items to highlight. The watch was taken to Shane Ede for service but when he opened it, he advised it was not required and the watch was running well. I noticed that the crown would occasionally slip while winding the watch so he lubed up the crown stem and advised this issue was caused by the crown just being in the wrong position while winding and he deemed it to be acceptable. It will very occasionally slip and all that is required is a slight push/pull to the crown to find the right winding position. The watch holds it's power reserve and keep good time.

Please also note, there is a small scratch on the insert between the 30 & 35 markers and there is a small ding in the bezel at the 8 position on the insert. I have tried to capture both of these in the pictures.

I have only ever worn this watch on a NATO so I cannot comment on the way the bracelet wears but it does have some stretch to it. In my opinion it is still wearable but could use a tightening at some point. The bracelet and end links are model correct and original to the watch.

The watch has probably seen a polish in the past but the chamfers are very slightly visible at certain angles. The lugs are still nice and thick and the lug holes have not been distorted.

For this example, I am asking $5,300 which includes shipping across Canada.

Thanks for looking.
