Hey folks
Up for grabs is a truly sensational timepiece from IWC.
Offering tremendous bang for buck and dashing good looks, this reference IW5001-09 features the caliber 51011 that boasts a whopping 7 days of power reserve.
With highly legible applied Arabic markers and a leaf style handset that can put some leaves to shame, this is as legible a timepiece as one can get without the aide of lume.
The bicompax dial layout and the balance provided by the even split numerals between the upper and lower quadrant, provide for an aesthetically pleasing readout.
Coming in at 42.6mm it wears rather comfortably and to a 41.5 on my 7.5” wrist with a lug to lug of 50.6mm
The thickness, considering the size of the movement required to render the power reserve, comes in at 13.9mm
The watch is in overall excellent condition with the only blemishes worth mentioning being the hairlines on the brushed case side and the bezel, which has a relatively substantial height to it.
There is no service history to the watch, though it runs rather well between +13/+14s per day.
This example comes as watch only on original leather/deployant a service pill from Bandiera.
Setting this to fly at $6555 in the GTA, shipping at cost
