SUPER SPONSOR
Hey folks
Up for grabs is my limited edition James Bond Seamaster Professional.
Perfect for the Bond enthusiast that’s gotta collect them all, this model was a limited release of 10007 pieces.
In anticipation of the messages I’m going to get pointing out the wear on the watch, I’ll address it accordingly; as items meant to be worn, loved and enjoyed, not just by watch enthusiasts, but by Bond fans as well, this watch has seen its fair share of love. Yes there are wear signs everywhere from scratches, wear to the brushed areas, and scratches, but what’s not present, is a polished or over polished watch.
The lugs still remain sharp, just dulled a bit by the sands of time.
The handset and some markers have a small level of patina which adds to the charm, but in all other regards, this watch runs like a charm.
Omega had some fun with this execution and departed from the commonly seen wave dial of the 2531.80 to this more Bond worthy spiralling which ties in to the opening credits of the films. The seconds hand counterbalance 007 is a very artistic touch, that continues to the case back and the clasp.
I have no service history for the watch, however based on the timegrapher numbers, it’s running as would a freshly serviced timepiece and being the 2500 cal co axial movement, it’s a certain leg up from the predecessor Bond watches.
The watch comes in at 41mm, with a 13mm thickness and a 48mm lug to lug, the goldilocks sizing.
The watch is currently sized perfectly for my 7.5” wrist and has one more lug.
I’m supplying this on the Omega pill pictured.
Still commanding a minimum price of over $6k online, I’m asking $3975 in the GTA
