For sale is my 2008 Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 5015-1130-52 in Steel.
This is the modern classic Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 5015-1130-52 from Blancpain — one of the most historically important dive watches ever made. The Fifty Fathoms lineage dates back to 1953 and remains a benchmark for high-end dive watches. The 45mm case wears beautifully thanks to its curved lugs and balanced proportions. Fits much smaller than a 45mm for reference. The sapphire bezel, deep black dial, and luminous markers give it incredible presence on the wrist while still maintaining the refinement Blancpain is known for. The finishing throughout the case is exceptional, with sharp transitions and refined detailing, and the in-house automatic movement (Blancpain Caliber 1315, in-house automatic) reflects the level of craftsmanship and mechanical excellence one expects from a maison like Blancpain.
This watch was worn as a daily for many years and shows honest wear consistent with regular use. There are no major dings or deep scratches, but you should expect light surface marks and hairlines, particularly on the high-polish areas throughout. I’ve done my best to represent the condition accurately in the photos and am happy to provide additional pictures upon request. It was recently placed on a timegrapher and is currently running at - 17 seconds a day.
Watch comes complete Full Kit — includes inner and outer boxes, booklet, and original paperwork. Due to the age, the boxes are peeling and falling apart. It is currently outfited with an Artem Strap that I would recommend replacing. I contacted Blancpain today and it would be $370 + tax for a new strap.
