Hey folks
Up for grabs is the most iconic Omega that truly needs no introduction.
This specific piece is a little special as it was a one owner watch till recently when I purchased it.
The watch was purchased by the owner while he was posted in Afghanistan with the Canadian Armed Forces.
This was his daily watch until very recently, and yes it shows.
In situations like this, where the watch was worn, loved and experienced daily life with a service man, I can’t help but appreciate every battle scar it shows.
The watch comes as a full kit, including the inner and outer box, Pictograms Card, warrant card as well as the caseback sticker.
Currently sized for my 7.5” wrist there are 2 more links included.
The 849 bracelet has a bit more heft than the current generation and in my opinion is what makes the 3570.50 as fun as it is.
There are scratches throughout the case and bracelet and a few remain on the original hesalite ad well.
There is no service history on this example is unknown but rhe Calibre 1861 powering the watch, winds, runs, sets and resets like it should and ticks away at -6s a day and an amplitude of 266
For this daily driver of a tool watch (I literally saw one in the wild at the gym) I’m asking $5151 in the GTA.
