Hi folks
Up for grabs is a watch that was produced in a very limited quantity of 600 pieces.
At first glance, one cannot help but stop and stare at the character imbued into this timepiece, from sunburst mahogany red dial to the sapphire bezel insert with a green/grey hue, juxtaposed with gold tone seconds and GMT hand, all pointing in the direction of a classy, elegant and unyieldingly different GMT timepiece.
The watch comes in at deceiving size of 44mm, a lug to lug of 50.8mm and a height of 14.7mm. Lug width is a manageable 21mm
Powering the watch is the 9R66 movement with an accuracy of +\-15s annually.
The 5 link bracelet features a mix of brush and polish to enhance the aesthetic and elevate the luxe factor.
Aside from a few micro hairlines to the case sides from wiping down with a microfibre, there are virtually no other signs of tarnish, unheard of for a watch of this age.
Owing to the multifaceted markers and handset it is not only legible by day, but unforgivingly legible by night thanks to the generous lume on the handset, cardinal markers and bezel; this is as “one and done” as a GS can get.
The package used to include an orange GS rubber strap, which has gone missing at some point in the past 6 years, but is otherwise a full set.
The watch retailed at approx $9200, you can have it here at $6599 f2f in the GTA OR shipped.
