Selling this watch that I bought a couple of months ago from a member here. Here is his description, which tells you all you need to know. The only change is that the bracelet is a bit more used ( the iPhone 15 camera makes the bracelet look way worse than it is, because the camera is so good) . I have sized it with all the bracelet links, as I like bracelets to be loose on my 7 3/4 inch wrist. The watch is so comfortable and works perfectly, but I am a life long Casio digital man, and I just can’t get used to mechanical watches, with all the adjustments you have to make. (ie lazy)
“Up for grabs is a veritable unicorn as these pieces rarely come up for sale, let alone with a documented service history.
This model is one of the older examples that features the ETA 2824-2 movement, as opposed to the newer models housing the SW200
The watch has some hairlines on the bracelet and clasp, but is in over all good used condition.
The crystal has a couple scratches are marks, nothing to impact the integrity, reliability, timekeeping or overall aesthetic of the watch.
Currently sized for my 7.5” wrist, there are 2 additional links and ample room on the lengthy quick adjustment.
Running at +3s a day, it keeps great time and is one of the nicest, most comfortable submarine homages I’ve encountered yet, right down to the bezel action.
Included is the outer sleeve, inner box, manuals, screw driver, service invoice from 2023, booklet and warranty
This watch makes for an excellent everyday watch and hits the right spot with the red seconds hand.”
$975 shipped, and no trades please. I can deliver it for a ftf in the GTA/Southern Ontario area (within reason).
