Up today I have my Spitfire ref IW387901 in very good used condition.
The watch comes as a full set, dated 2019 with warranty extended to 2027.
The crystal is flawless though the AR coating has scratches that can be seen when angled. A new crystal can fix this or the AR can simply be removed.
The case itself is in good condition with a fair rub marks to the brushed portion and the bezel has a few fleabites from being worn as a daily.
Overall the watch is in good shape and has clearly been enjoyed, the way watches should.
The strap is in excellent condition with about 90-95% life left in it
The spitfire has been one of my favourites in the pilot Chronograph lineup due to the value you get with an in house column wheel movement over the Valjoux based 7750 movements.
At the 41mm it’s suitable for most wrists and plays off rather tactically with the khaki green strap and fauxtina handset/cardinal hour markings.
Retail is now $9700 plus local tax, while I’m offering it here at $5699 in the GTA
