2020 Grand Seiko SBGA429 - Soko Shadow

Up for your consideration I have my Grand Seiko Soko Shadow in excellent condition.

This magnificent timekeeper is a US Special Edition and is unavailable in Canada (other than through yours truly)

The watch comes as a full kit dated July 2020.

There are very minimal signs of wear, predominantly on one of the links and on the clasp by way of a surface hairline (pictured)

At 39mm, this case size would fit pretty much any wrist between a 6.25-7.25” perfectly.

Featuring the 9R65 Spring Drive movement, the sweep of the second hand is even more mesmerizing due to the lime green coloration and is by far one of my most favourite aspect of this watch.

The dial which features subtle vertical striations harkens to the first frost of the year that arrives in Kyoto's Arashiyama bamboo forest in the late autumn season “Soko”

This package comes as a full kit including the very comfortable and excellently executed crocodile leather strap with colour matched stitching to the seconds and power reserve hands.

While most “entry level” spring drives come with a plain dial and solid caseback, this banger of a watch comes with a truly unique dial, and and exhibition caseback worthy of a higher price point, yet I offer it up at $4950 f2f in the GTA

Bump, the cheapest modern spring drive grand seiko with an actually interesting dial. Try and find one cheaper in this condition and I’ll knock off another $100
