Hey folks
Up for grabs is an incredible tool watch that punches well above its weight class.
This Aquis Chronograph is in overall excellent condition and like all Aquis’ wears slightly smaller than its dimensions indicate.
On my 7.3” wrist it wears similar to a 42mm timepiece and measures at 45.5mm x 52mm x 18mm and is water resistant to 500m, hence the thickness.
The watch is hefty and well engineered and features the 774 caliber which is essentially the Valjoux 7750 movement, so you will encounter the infamous wobble to some extent on and off wrist.
The blue dial is subtle and only comes through with natural light. Indoors it appears more of a midnight blue .
This reference comes standard with the rubber strap that has plenty of life and still smells like vanilla and will accommodate a wrist much larger than mine.
Rarely do these watches come with every conceivable strap pairing, yet here you have the option to switch it to the bracelet, or the leather, which also comes with its own clasp. Each bracelet pairing comes with its own set of screws and both additional sets are in excellent condition.
Included in the package is the double box, manual, warranty card, 3 OEM straps and the watch.
At retail the watch runs for $4600 with an additional $1100 in straps
I’m asking $2800 shipped from the GTA, essentially 50% off the entire package at retail.
