SUPER SPONSOR
Hey folks
Up for grabs is one of the GS’ that provides the most bang for buck - atleast on the secondary market and at my pricing.
Part of the sports collection, it’s a beautiful rendition of sports watch that oozes luxury.
Recently serviced under warranty the watch is in overall excellent condition with minor wear to the clasp, a couple links on the bracelet and barely noticeable minor marks to the case side.
Running at about +7s/day, the watch beats at 36,000 vph.
This is one of the few GS models that boast a micro adjustable clasp that provides about 5 points of adjustment, equating to about a link.
The zaratsu polishing is very apparent on the case sides that act as mirror and reflect my hands during the photo sesh.
The blue dial is a deep blue almost indigo in some lights and the lume is noticeably Seiko with its intensity and longevity.
The lumed sapphire bezel is a thing of legends as you rarely see it on watches within this price bracket unless done by a micro brand. The daylight hours are highlighted in white and blue is representative of night.
The watch measures 44.2mm x 14.4mm x 50.6mm with a 21mm lug width
Despite those numbers, through GS witchcraft, the watch wears like a 42mm timepiece since the case tapers in a bowl like fashion, down to 37mm at the case back portion that sits on wrist.
There are a total of 13 full Links and 2 half links. Currently sized just right for my 7.3” there are 2 full and 2 half links in the bag.
Included in this package is the double box, rice paper, hang tag, manual, certificate warranty card, original receipt, service receipt, care instructions booklet and extra links.
Retail on this model is $9800 plus tax and would put any Explorer 2 or GMT Master II to shame, with all it offers.
Warranty remains until Aug 2026
I’m asking 45% off retail at $5395 shipped from the GTA
