Up today I have my rather iconic Cartier Santos Large model in one of the most unique colour ways.
If you’re familiar with the Santos lineup, you’re aware that the bezel scratches very easily and this ribbed blue PVD bezel is a sporty, playful and rugged add on to a watch that otherwise leans very dressy.
The grey dial canvassed against the blued Roman numerals are a nice touch and add a bit of depth of the dial.
The watch comes as a full kit with box, papers, tool and card and is supplied on both bracelet and rubber strap .
I noted a very minor blemish to the top of the bezel, otherwise the watch is in excellent to near mint condition.
The watch carries the balance of an 8 year warranty from Cartier and a rather efficient/user friendly “smartlink” system which makes link change and strap change a breeze for even the most novice collector.
Water resistant to 100m and coming in at 40mm, this is as good as it gets in a rather versatile timepiece
