Hey folks,
Up for grabs I have one the hottest reissues in the recent decade, this time from GP, the Laureato.
This reference 81010-11-634-11A features a 42mm case and the iconic black Clous de Paris patterned dial.
The 42mm sizing is slightly deceptive as the case is rather angular and slopes effortlessly into the bracelet that tapers drastically.
Furthermore the stepped bezel creates an illusion between the polished circular portion and its octagonal brushed upper.
The integrated lug design that has had a resurgence in recent years, has been executed with a great degree of class and comfort; this is where GP has succeeded while so many others have failed. Aided by a 10.8mm thickness, perfectly smoothed links with defined polished edges, the wearing experience is luxurious at worst.
Flipping over the watch, you’re greeted with the GP01800 movement which features a 54 hour power reserve, circular graining, mirror-polishing, satin finish, snailing, sunray finish and bevelling, The bridges are decorated with straight Côtes de Genève and the rhodium-plated oscillating weight is embellished with circular Côtes de Genève.
Owning this watch is a true horological experience and is certainly something with which any enthusiast should familiarize themselves.
Being about 1.5 years old, the watch has some minor signs of wear, mainly the polished centre links near the clasp and a tiny fleabite on the non crown side.
The watch comes as a full set with all links, box and papers, warranty dated 05/2022.
Retail is 19,100 plus taxes, while I’m asking 40% less at $11,475 f2f in the GTA or plus shipping. I can entertain trades down if they are valued in similar fashion as mine.
