Up for grabs is my Portofino Chronograph, an absolutely stunning watch that is every bit classy as it is functional.
IWC has managed to combine elegance with a certain level of sportiness in this chronograph model.
The gold tone hands along with the markers, while seemingly the centre of attention, pull your eye inward to the concentric circular features of the sub dials.
Once again, IWC has managed to masterfully use the dial real estate, providing excellent legibility for all
readouts, without clutter or information overload with the added benefit of dual sided AR coating to the sapphire crystal.
This model comes complete with box and papers, and has the extended 8 year warranty until March of 2030.
Cosmetically the watch is in very good condition with some hairlines to the non crown case side.
At 42mm it wears akin to a 40mm on my 7.5” wrist, with a height of 13.6mm, lug to lug at 49mm and a lug width of 20mm.
