Hey folks,
Up for consideration is one of the nicest sub 4k watches I’ve owned.
I’ve had the blue dial variation of this watch multiple times and while it’s beautiful, the scarcity of a properly executed burgundy dial simply outweighs the plethora of blue dials available at any given point.
The two part dial construction with the clous-de-Paris centre and the brushed outer dial are top notch for the price point and the laser etched underside of the top sapphire crystal with the hour markers make for an unimaginable suspended lume aesthetic.
The burgundy is predominantly noticeable in natural lighting and at certain angles plays a the part of mauve.
The watch has been worn by me for the wrist shots pictured and has otherwise been unworn for most of its life; the strap is still stiff and crisp with the watch head being pristine with no signs of wear
The watch comes as full kit with outer box, leather pouch, beige cloth pouch, warranty paper and the original strap, warranty expires in 2025
The watch is housed in a 38.5mm case size, 20mm lug width, 10mm thick and 44 mm lug to lug. The movement is a modified Sellita movement, which features a very welcome jumping hour function activated by the second crown position, beating away at a respectable +10s/day on average.
