Selling my LNIB SBGJ271, full-kit, purchased May 2023 from an Ontario AD, sized and worn for a day. It’s now in its box, and it is immaculate. The 271 is part of GS’ Elegance Collection.

The hands on this GS are highly legible, set against a textured white dial evoking Japan’s winter scenes. Monochrome.com describes the dial as a “vertically striped pattern, with an irregular texture that somewhat reminds of uneven Geneva stripes, (….) in a silvery-white tone with the appearance of snow-covered trees. It is inspired by Yukigesho, a poetic expression used to describe the dusting of snow. The graphic, complex pattern brings a new dynamism to this reference and yet feels unquestionably Grand Seiko.”

Dress it up or dress it down; this is a stunning time piece.
