SUPER SPONSOR
Hey folks
Up for grabs is my Grand Seiko GMT SBGN029.
These are the replacement models of the previous generation SBGN005/SBGN003 that have come to be the gateway drug for the converted GS enthusiast.
The previous form factor I found wore a bit smaller than the advertised 39mm, while this new form factor wears true to size and akin to a BB58.
Adequately hefty on wrist, it’s a no nonsense travellers GMT, easily paired for your business trips, your all inclusive beach vacations or simply adjusting for our daylight savings time.
With its high accuracy movement, the watch has yet to lose any time since I set it earlier this year and Grand Seiko promises a deviancy of -10/+10s a year.
I’ve worn the watch periodically and aside from 1-2 hairlines on the bracelet, I’ve found no real blemishes worth mentioning.
For those wanting to dip their toes into Grand Seiko, a high accuracy quartz is usually my recommendation as you get everything GS has to offer from the Zaratsu polishing to the community renowned accuracy, at a fraction of the price.
While retail is $4300, I’m asking $3333 f2f in the GTA or shipping can be arranged at cost.
