Up for consideration I have one of my favourite models from the prospex lineup, the MM300 SLA047 presented in near mint condition.
In the hunt for a green dial, there are a number of options to choose from, but striking the right balance between price, wearability and shade of green, is a massive task; enter the SLA047
Built like a tank, monocoque case design with Zaratsu polishing and a water resistance of 300m, make for a handsomely rugged yet luxurious wearing experience, right down to the finished date wheel.
This piece while retaining every other aspect of its 021/023 counterparts, diverges off the path with a subdued green dial and a limited production run of 3000 pieces.
Add to that a crisp white rubber strap included for the summer months, along with the OEM bracelet and green OEM strap, this starts to present a solid value alternative to the other variants.
There are extremely minor signs of wear to the clasp and one or two links, the rubber remains unworn.
At my ask of $2499 in the GTA, it is insane value and will surely bring you months if not years of enjoyment setting aside the over 4k retail price tag
