Up for consideration is my Grand Seiko Elegance "Toji"
In excellent overall condition with the faintest of marks on a few bracelet links and the case sides, I would chalk this up to handling marks on a showroom piece.
The watch was procured from a local AD and retains the bulk of the 5 year warranty until 2029
At 40mm x 48mm it’s a very wearable size, with a bit of thickness at 14mm
From first glance, the watch was a rather special part of the elegance collection as even with its rather simple case design, its textured glistening dial is reminiscent of the environ after a blizzard with a ray of sunlight poking through, depicted in this execution by the golden GMT hand
The watch comes as a full set and carries a rather hefty price tag of $8200 before tax.
I’m setting this at $5222 in the GTA, over 35% off retail, for what is essentially a new timepiece.
