Another Edmontonian Enters the fray!

Hello CWC,

I wanted to introduce myself. I am a Edmonton based collector. I have been in the hobby for about 4 years and have been active moreso on the CWC Facebook Group but considering some of the changes that are occuring there and my ultimate goal of reducing my consumption of social media in general I thought I would dive into the CWC forum after a recent conversation with another member.
My collection is mainly budget friendly watches with some recent acquisitions of entry level luxury. I am more of a field/sports watch fan than divers. I am pretty happy with my colelction, particularly my more recent acquisition of a Longines Conquest. It's pretty much my perfect watch. However, I would like to get an integrated bracelet watch in my collection. I have tried a few. The Zenith Defy is perfect. I like the Tissot PRX with the ice blue dial. I also am thinking about a CW Twelve.

Another welcome from Cowtown. I'm sure you'll find buying and selling here much safer than that fb CWC group. I was on there too for awhile but it was like a circle jerk, the same 'bros' were always giving each other great references, lol. Not everyone of course, but enough.

I saw that behaviour alot unfortunately but I also have met some pretty decent people through the page so it hasn't been all bad. Bit with the new owner of the group implementing rules restricting under 1k sales to a new group and the fact that non-sale posts will only be randomly approved (whatever that means) makes it a much less relevant space for me to spend time in.
