This watch is a vintage Lord Elgin Tank style watch from the 1940's. It has a 14k solid gold case signed by Wadsworth and is almost flawless except for very fine faint scratches on case back that can easily be buffed out. It has a pristine signed 21 jewel manual wind movement. The signed black dial is mint and covered by a clear raised crystal. The second hand is at the 6 o'clock position. The case measures 34mm lug tip to lug tip and 25mm wide excluding crown. Please keep in mind this watch is from the 40's and small by today's standards. They are classified as Gentlemen's watches but would look very nice on a Special Lady. It comes with a brand new brown 16mm Alligator Calf leather band.
