This is perfect watch for the traveler as it needs no winder and features quick and easy time zone changes. All you need to do is pull the crown out to the first detent and advance the hour hand back or forth and the minutes and seconds remain unaffected. The watch also features chronograph push pieces that are fully functional underwater (up to 3,300’) as the push pieces are magnetic and do not breach the case in any way. As most of you know a quartz crystal frequency will vary with temperature which in turn will cause a timing error in a conventional quartz controlled watch. This movement employs a temperature sensor which applies a correction and thus earns the name “SuperQuartz™”. This watch will not require the typical overhaul that automatic watches require every 7-8 years.
This watch is absolute mint condition as can be seen in the HQ pictures. A new Renata battery installed in September 2014. Prior to the new battery install, accuracy was +3 seconds in 1.5 years. Incudes all boxes, manual, maintenance record and hangtag.
