For sale is my Cartier Drive de Cartier WSHJ0006, a refined and distinctive timepiece that perfectly showcases Cartier's ability to blend timeless elegance with modern design. Featuring the highly desirable black guilloché dial, this reference offers a more contemporary and sportier take on one of Cartier's most elegant modern collections.
Introduced in 2016, the Drive de Cartier was inspired by classic grand touring automobiles, offering a sophisticated alternative to the brand's iconic Tank and Santos. The 41mm stainless steel case wears exceptionally well thanks to its curved profile and slim proportions, making it equally at home with a suit or casual attire.
The striking black guilloché dial is the highlight of the watch, beautifully contrasting with Cartier's signature applied Roman numerals and blued steel sword hands. A small seconds display at 6 o'clock and discreet date window complete the perfectly balanced layout, while the blue cabochon crown adds the unmistakable Cartier touch. It's an elegant design that stands out without being flashy.
Powering the watch is Cartier's in-house automatic Calibre 1904-PS MC, delivering excellent reliability and approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, the movement reinforces the Drive's position as one of Cartier's finest modern mechanical offerings.
