Time to thin out the watch box. This one didn’t see more than a day of wrist time and has sat since I first acquired it. The on this one is that Castle Watch Co wanted to produce a full feature time piece at an affordable price, which they achieved; the problem however that arose is that the price they based their pre production sales on didn’t stay firm and the final product in pieces cost them at least 25% more than they had originally planned for which. They even hand painted the indices themselves to try and keep the ballooning cost down! Today the Cavetto remains shelved as “too costly” for them to produce. My big complaint with this piece was that their was a lot of play in the rotating bezel, otherwise this piece is mint and a steal for all of the features you are getting.
The Cavetto features a sapphire crystal, titanium case, 120 click unidirectional rotating titanium bezel and a Seiko NH35, exhibition case back and 100m WR.
