Up for sale is my beloved Chopard Mille Miglia GMT Chronograph. If you ever have wanted a watch that sparkles on the wrist and has an imposing presence of a sport watch while maintaining the elegance of a dress watch, fewer will do the job better. The watch has Chopard's automatic 25 jewel caliber 7754 chronometer (COSC) with 46 hour power reserve and frequency is 28,800 A/h . A sapphire display back and a racing style Barenia black calfskin leather strap with OEM Chopard double fold deployment buckle round off this aesthetic masterpiece. The strap length is 180mm (110mm/ 70mm). The case is a polished stainless steel and it's diameter is 42.5 x 51mm with a 14.8mm thickness. Lug width is 21mm and buckle width is 18mm. Waterproof to 5 ATM/ 50.00m/ 165.00 FT.
Other functions include chronograph, Date, small seconds, luminescent hands, luminous indexes, quick set, chronometer and GMT.
The watch is mint except for a few very light desk diving scuffs on the non crown side of the case.
This very watch is fresh back from an authorized Chopard dealer basic service (June 29th, 2017) with a clean bill of health. The service was done through L'Oro Jewelers at Sherway Gardens in Toronto, Ontario. Basic service included adjustment of timing to factory spec, all seals and gaskets changed, and waterproof test. Further requirements were a new crown and new chrono pusher button at 4 o' clock. Total cost was $661.05 and the receipt along with the Chopard Customer Service Warranty Certificate card which carries a 2 year warranty will be provided. The watch is not yet 5 yrs old since purchase so full service not yet required. I am the watch's second owner. It was originally purchased on October 18th, 2012.
Of course all the original documents will also be provided which includes the COSC/chronometer certificate and Chopard certificate of origin. Original leather box with leather pillow are mint without any imperfections.
Asking a fair $4500. Non serviced models go on Ebay for nearly $4000 US without any service warranty. The fact the service and warranty are local, this is a big plus.
