Hello,
I've got a very special and rare Grand Seiko up for sale. This is the 40th anniversary limited edition #205 out of 1000. The reference number is SBGR011 and has a 9S55-0040 automatic movement. It comes with the original box and papers.

I am really trying to sell this one and am not interested in trades. I am open to negotiations and all offers will be answered.
It has a titanium case and band with a 18kt gold GS lion emblem on the case back. The band is highly detailed with many intricate parts. The most unique feature of this watch is the dial which may seem like a simple black dial but it has a very subtle carbon lion pattern that comes alive in natural light.
Condition wise it runs very well within chronometer specs. The sapphire crystal has a few very small surface scratches which has been picked up over the years. You have to look very closely and capture the lighting just right in order to see the scratches. The clasp can be prone to opening if enough force is placed on it when the wrist is in a bent position so it may need replacing. This is a standard clasp to most Grand Seiko Models and can be bought from Seiko. It will probably cost around $100 which I've deducted from my selling price accordingly. Ive kept this watch on a black leather band and it looks incredible.
The crown is screw down and provides an excellent 200m water resistance. It is 39mm with 20mm lug width. The band is currently sized to 7.25" wrist but comes with 2 additional links for a total of 8".
I am excited hear what you guys think of it to see if anyone is interested in snatching this rare Grand Seiko. This is truly a collectors watch to pass down to future generations.
