Hey all-
unsure whether I should put this here or in the above-1000 as it reaches much more than that cumulatively, but as it stands each perhaps this is better.
Based out of Halifax, NS- available for face to face or Canada wide shipping. I’m fairly new to online deals, so we’ll go the safest method that can be agreed upon.
I’m deep into this hobby and would prefer TRADES- I would be willing to trade several watches for something interesting, as I’m trying to cut down my collection slightly.
Mostly interested in vintage, military, or diving watches. Strong preference towards mechanical watches, particularly Omega, Tudor, Rolex, Tutima Longines, and older military issues. Worth throwing out there if there’s any bites- something beat up or scratched is fine, I generally do my own cleaning and restoration. A SeaMaster, Planet Ocean, sub, etc is preferred. Less interested in quartz, Seiko, Citizen, Bulova, microbrands. A company with rich history is preferred, military automatics are king.
I could be talked into a sale if the price is right, but I’m most looking into switching the collection around.
Available watches-
TAG HEUER Formula 1 Professional
Works well- 6.5/10 condition, clearly been worn. On a sporty black leather strap, I mostly wore this for shooting. Relatively new battery installed. Some expected wear on crystal, back and bezel, but nothing distracting. This photo makes it look much more dinged up than it is.
Bucherer Automatic- 36mm-
Slight crack in the upper part of crystal- local watch shop quoted me a 40 dollar fix, but I have another Bucherer so I never bothered. Some light case wear.
Zenith Pilot- 36mm
Keeps great time, beautiful gold toned patina. Light case wear and a military strap. I love this, and if it doesn’t go I’m not going to shed a tear.
Omega 1953 SeaMaster Automatic
On repro Omega deployment clasp, 18mm lugs. Surprisingly good condition. Winds great, second hand subdial is beautiful in motion. Slight wear on case and crystal, but ultimately in pretty good shape.
Longines Admiral-
Keeps good time- restored this one myself. The bracelet is older, but the watch itself is fairly good shape. Crystal has slight nicks you can see at odd angles, and the case has some dings, but nothing serious. Gold filled, has some engravings.
Waltham 17J manual winder
Don’t have much to say about this one. It works fairly well, isn’t particularly dinged up. 17j movement. 8/10 condition.
Tissot T-Touch Titanium
8/10 as well, slight case scuffs here and there, but nothing that couldn’t be polished out. Functions amazingly, but the hassle of wearing a (semi) smart watch is too much for me. Has original box, papers, and warranty info. I have it on a NATO but I’ll include the original bracelet
More pictures, videos, even Skype time to show the function is totally okay. If you can get here, you can try before buying, naturally.
Sorry if this breaks any rules, seems okay by the sales section ones in the sticky.
Not looking to profit- this is my hobby above all else- but if you don’t have something, I’ll entertain offers.
Cheers!
