Picked this up a little while ago to tie me over while I was waiting for something. That watch has now been found so it is time to offer this awesome vintage diver to someone else who will enjoy it as much as I have.
Finding a Caravelle Sea Hunter in wearable condition is becoming harder and harder since these were worn as a daily watch and usually worn pretty hard. Additionally, these have also gained in popularity with WIS because of their resemblance to the vintage Explorer at a fraction of the cost.
This dial, especially the tritium lume has aged beautifully to a nice puffy butterscotch patina. That paired with the gorgeous dauphine hands easily showcases why this has become such a popular watch for its price.
Original crown and bi-directional bezel.
Automatic movement runs great but service history is unknown.
Comes with an after market oyster bracelet as pictured. Currently sized to a 7.25” wrist.
