1970’s Heuer 510.501 PVD with Lemania 5100

41mm not including crown
46mm hidden lug to hidden lug

Service history not known, but hand winds like a dream and keeps great time.

PVD coating in great shape considering the age, looks great on the Di Modell Chronissimo strap that I got for it. Black dial on black watch on black strap is very striking. Darth Vader would wear this watch proudly!

I would give it 85% on TZ scale, but please make your own determination through the pics. I will be posting more in upcoming days.

Crystal is mineral I believe and in perfect shape.

I’d like to get $1200 for it and would like to see references as I will also provide mine.

Local sale in Montreal is preferred but will ship if the interest is there.

I've had a few questions regarding the chrono second and minute hands not being orange like they normally are on a Lemania 5100, like the Sinn and B&R in the family shot. I will take macro pics to attempt to see if the hands are original but faded, or if they are replacements which are not correct for the watch. I honestly don't know the service history on it. Many 510.501's that I've seen online with day/date do not have the hour hand in orange but I'll try to get clear shots of that one as well. Some that I've seen with just date have the orange chrono hour hand.

New pics,

I can't see the orange in there, let me know if you can. :) Maybe they were faded and previous owner had them painted white??

Took a new pic, the minute chrono hand was not zeroed correctly in my pics.

A firm press and all is good with the world.
