I am the second owner of this 2019 Montblanc 1858 LE. I purchased the watch in 2020 from a CANWATCHCO seller, and they purchased it from a Canadian AD in October 2019. Price new is $4100, which comes to $4633 with taxes.
The 1858 Automatic Limited Edition 1858 comes in a 40 mm polished and satin-finished bronze case featuring slim beveled horns. The case back is engraved with the emblematic Mont Blanc Mountain, a compass and two crossed ice pick-axes.
For legibility and design, the khaki-green dial contrasts with historical luminescent cathedral-shaped hands with a “cloisonné” design that have been slightly domed for one of the finest finishes. Other details include beige SuperLumiNova*-coated Arabic numerals, a railway minute track and the original Montblanc logo from the 1930s era with its historical font and emblem of the Mont Blanc Mountain.
This watch is in excellent worn condition. Case flanks, bezel and crystal appear flawless, and the only marks that I can find are on the back of the 5 o’clock lug (likely from strap changes).
This Limited Edition timepiece has a high-quality woven khaki-green textile strap matching the dial's colour, with a bronze “Montblanc” buckle and equipped with spring bars (similar to the Tudor textile straps). Also included is a separate green Tropic strap which has been fitted with a bronze “Baltic” buckle.
Payment via EMT. The first “I’ll take it” get the watch held for 24 hours; the first payment gets the listing marked “OHPF”; and the final payment sees the watch shipped.
