Hey Guys,

I know we all make sales posts starting out saying that “I’ll regret selling....”. In this case, given few times that these pop up for sale, I’m certainly going to regret letting it go. Unfortunately/fortunately I bought an Omega Speedy 57 with the blue dial, so this one is getting cut to keep my collection within my four bay winder and down to one blue dial Chrono. Not exactly a rare watch, but they don’t come up for sale too often these days.

So, with that, for sale only is a Breitling Old Navitimer II with the blue dial and blue leather strap. Watch is the 41.5mm version with 22mm lugs. Full disclosure, this watch only comes with a Breitling Service Case. No other papers, cards or boxes come with the watch. Previous owner had the watch checked out with a clean bill of health. The modified Valjoux 7750 is pumping along with an amplitude of over 300 and it is keeping near perfect time. It gained less than 15 seconds last month. All of the sub-dial hands line up perfectly, and the chronograph functions flawlessly. Bezel turns silky smooth as it should. Essentially, the watch and all of it's functions work perfectly.

Case is in beautiful shape. No serious sins to speak of. I gave it a very light buff with a Sunshine Cloth. The sapphire has a tiny tiny blip at the 2:30 mark. I can’t photograph it because it’s that small, but it’s there.

Now for the strap. It comes with the original blue strap and pin buckle. It is completely toast but I am including it for posterity. The deployant strap and Milanese mesh in the photos are not included as they belong to my Transocean. Good news though. Onboard Fedex somewhere between the USA and my house is a brand new Panatime blue with white stitching strap which is a near perfect facsimile the original.

Anyway, that said I’m looking for a no quibble $3800 even and I’ll cover ParcelPro. No trades please.

Thanks

And here is a pic to give you a size comparison. It’s between a 43mm Transocean and a 41mm Aqua Terra:

Would consider a trade for a blue dial Omega SMPc with a bit of cash coming my way depending on the condition of the SMPc.
