For sale is my circa 1970 Rolex Datejust 1603, with engine-turned bezel.
It was serviced in August 2016, and still carry the warranty leftovers until August 2018.
The reliable calibre 1575 ticks at a lovely 19800 bph, and when worn and wound, is either very close to or within COSC specs, despite being nearly 50 years old.
It features a genuine (but not original to the watch) jubilee bracelet, marked O6, dating it June 1990. It shows little stretch for its age. It has 19 links on it, plus one on the side. New endlinks from June 2017 (from Rolex Canada) are marked 555B.
The acrylic cristal is in very good condition, being chip and nicks free. The date wheel features the lovely open 6’s and 9’s.
Overall, in very good condition for a 50-year-old watch. It will tick forever if properly maintained.
