This watch was originally purchased Dec 31, 2014. For those who don't know the Damasko brand it is quite unique so I will elaborate.
This small German watch company makes what many would consider to be the most well made watches. They use a proprietary icehard process called DAMEST. It blows its competitor, Sinn, away! Sinn only has a coating on the outside. Damasko is completely hardened all the way through. Over 2500 vickers on the outside 1500 on the next layer and 750 the rest of the way through. But not just the case, the crown, bezel, lugs and even the case back are hardened this way! This watch is nearly impossible to scratch.
This 40mm watch also has a bi directional rotating bezel sitting atop ceramic ball bearings. The most solid and precise clicking bezel you will ever find anywhere on any watch guaranteed!
The case back is sealed with vitron gaskets, and the sapphire crystal is has an anti reflective coating on both sides so the sapphire almost disappears!

You won’t find another Damasko on Kijiji or even EBay. They rarely ever come up for sale because they were built to last forever.
