Up for sale is a Glycine Airman 18. Lots of heritage and great specs. Here's a video review of this model for your enjoyment.

The hour hand works like a regular one (goes around once every 12 hours) while the red GMT hand goes around once every 24 hours.

Specs Highlights:

  • 39mm
  • Sapphire crystal front and back
  • 200mm water resistance
  • 46.5mm lug to lug
  • 10.5mm thick
  • 20mm strap in great condition
  • 75grams weight
  • 42hrs power reserver, hacks/hand winds
  • SW300-1 Automatic GMT Movement

The watch keeps great time, operates smoothly, comes with outer and inner boxes, tags and papers.

Pictures taken under direct sunlight to try and highlight any imperfections. Great overall condition with light hairlines/scuffs on the watch case and bezel.

Asking $1299 shipped/insured via FedEx next day (e-transfer payment).

No trades at this time. Thanks for looking :)

Bump with interesting fact:

"The Glycine Airman was worn by astronaut Charles ‘Pete’ Conrad on Gemini V in August 1965 and Gemini XI in September 1966. On the Gemini XI mission, because of the open cockpit design of the capsule, Conrad’s Glycine Airman was exposed to the outer space environment during the 2 hour and 41 minute spacewalk of his colleague Richard Gordon. Because of this, it could be said that the Glycine Airman became the first automatic wristwatch flown in and exposed to outer space."

Up! Try your offers. Motivated to sell or Trade for other airman models. Prefer white dial No1, 1953 noon, any LE, or even better a vintage example in good working condition. Will add cash on my end if needed. Thanks!
