I am offering a Grand Seiko SBGR053 at $2500 OBO. Comes with all boxes and papers, including the original receipt from the Hong Kong boutique dated in 2012. Wire preferred but PayPal also accepted (buyer pays fees); shipping is included. Interested buyers please PM or email yulun1@ualberta.ca.
Condition:
I would rate it as very good. There are evident scratches from daily wear, though from normal viewing distances they are not that noticeable. There is one deeper scratch on the upper left lug that was there when I acquired it. In fact I am pretty certain I have not scratched it from my daily wear. With polishing all the scratches should come out. Please form your own judgment based on the pictures.
Mechanically it is keeping time about as well as anything this side of quartz or Spring Drive. It has been regulated by my WOSTEP certified watchmaker and is now running about a second fast a day, if that. As part of the regulation it was pressure-tested to 10 atm in accordance to original specs.
