Selling my full kit Grand Seiko SBGW287 red dial that rarely comes up for sale in the secondary market.
The dial of this masterfully crafted timepiece is a deep burgundy, said to be inspired by the rich autumn colors of Boshū, the ‘sekki’ or season when the trees that surround the Grand Seiko Shizukuishi Studio change in hue, announcing the onset of winter.
I’ve done my best to capture the transition of colour brought on by this dial and strap in various lighting and will conclude that it holds a rather burnt burgundy/maroon tone for the most part.
The hand-wound 9S64 movement seen through the exhibition case back boasts a 72-hour power reserve and incredible accuracy and perfect sizing at 37.5mm.
Dated March 18, 2023 from Canadian Authorized Dealer so tons of warranty remaining and to be enjoyed.
This dial is absolutely magnificent and I wish I was a better photographer to capture it appropriately.
The watch comes as a full kit and is in as close to new condition as possible with VERY minor signs of handling.
