I believe I am the second owner of this cool titanium watch. Unfortunately, the previous owner did not retain the box or papers, but the watch has been authenticated at an Omega AD and is in great shape. Really uncommon to come by these Gen2 watches in Canada.
This model 3291.50.00 watch is on the desireable OEM Titanium 1998 speedmaster bracelet. It is sized for a 7" wrist and comes with 2 extra links and the coveted titanium half-link (which is only sold separately and doesn;t come with the X33 from the factory).
All functions work perfectly, and the battery is around 6 months old. As per photos, the backlight shines well. the analogue hands match the digital time readout (it can be adjusted using the watch buttons). This is also the Flight Qualified by NASA model of the X33, and is the current issue successor to the Speedmaster Pro Moonwatch for American space station astronauts.
Please see the pictures, I've tried to show the watch fairly. There are really very few scuffs on the watch, I think they are all visible in the pics. Original hands and dial. Note that the serial number is clearly shown to assist in dating this watch if so inclined.
Some features of the Gen 2 X-33:
-brushed instead of polished bezel
-bidirectional instead of unidirectional rotating bezel
-luminous bezel pearl instead of red marker
-brushed instead of polished pushers
-modified “concentric circles” crown design
-addition of “FLIGHT-QUALIFIED BY NASA FOR SPACE MISSIONS” to caseback engraving
-duration of the backlight was shortened to 8 sec. to help conserve battery power
-inside-only instead of double-sided anti-reflective coating to sapphire crystal for durability
I'm asking $2600. FTF in Ottawa would be ideal, but barring that, I can ship via FedEX at your cost - it must be fully insured, so figure on around $100 to ship it. I don't do Parcel Pro. Payment by EMT, cash FTF, or mailed certified check.
