A few years ago I went through an Orient phase. For those who don’t know Orient, they are owned by Seiko, and make their own movements. But they are priced like Seikos and make incredibly reliable watches. All are made in Japan.

For Dive Watch fanatics, the Mako is Orient’s version. But the original Mako was a bit on the small side, hence the Mako XL. This is Orient’s answer to the Seiko SKX007. It is an ISO dive watch with 200m water resistance, unidirectional dive bezel, screw down crown and good lume. The watch comes on the original stainless steel bracelet and is 45mm in diameter but wears very comfortably. The Orient automatic movement keeps good time. In addition to time it has a date and day complication. The small push button on the top left is used to advance the day.

I have a thing for Dive Watches (i.e. way too many) and bought this as part of my collection. But, it isn’t seeing too much wrist time as of late and its time to let it go to someone who can appreciate it. It is used, and therefore has been worn, but only as a desk diver. Expect some hairline scratches but the pictures speak for themselves.

Included are extra links, the hang tag, original box and a manual.

I’d like to get $200 including Xpresspost shipping anywhere in Canada. I accept PayPal or Interac E-transfer. If you think I’m asking too much, make an offer. I’ve bought on CanWatcho before and have a 100% Ebay Rating as “deswayze”. If you have questions please PM me. For more information on me see: http://www.mhlaw.ca/TheTeam/DavidSwayze.aspx
