All detailed photos below are of the actual watch for sale. 34mm case, not including crown. I do not have a history on the watch, nor have I attempted to remove the movement from the watch as it is a top loader (cal. 562 is assumed) and not one I’m comfortable opening.

The watch will be brought to Damiani the first chance I get to gather a more detailed understanding of the watch. Or can be made available “as is” in the event the photos are sufficient. Willing to meet at any reputable watchmaker downtown Toronto to inspect the watch for originality, performance and valuation.

Trade/Cash value set at $3,000 CAD OBRO.

If there is significant interest, I’ll have the watch brought to a watchmaker Tomorrow and photograph the movement as well as the dial without the crystal.

Both the band and buckle are believed to also be genuine omega.

Some trades considered. Such as an omega 2255.80, speedmaster, or open to other compelling trade offers.

Feel free to ask questions!

This watch is a lot more polarizing than originally expected.

Better yet, there isn’t even a consensus in the global watch community as to if this exact combination even existed.

Best I can tell, the exact black face, Deville, crosshair combination was a Mad Men exclusive.

Didn’t stop this beauty from pulling in almost $12k USD in a 2015 Christie’s auction.

I’m still working with experts to determine whether the crosshair was the only addition. Though regardless of outcome, the Draper (left) is very clearly a repainted dial with “Swiss made” incorrectly positioned,

incorrect Seamaster script, white hands, and the infamous crosshairs.

Though not yet determined the be one of the very few remainjng original black dialed ‘63-‘67 Deville’s, it at he very least is a marked improvement over the movie prop.

Will update the ad further as new information is made available.

Movement is a 562
Model 166.020.

After speaking with the watchmaker, in addition to the cross hairs added, the dial under magnification appears to have been expertly enhanced/repainted.

The price has been adjusted to $1,600 OBRO.
