The seiko 6138-0020 Chronograph is one of the rarer versions of the 6138's. Believe me these don't come often if you are a true vintage chronograph fan! Seiko sold back in the day less of these making them rarer compare to their counterparts, UFO and Jumbo. The nickname "Tokei Zara" was given to this watch from its bowl shape case!
Two version of these were made, the grey and the blue subdials. This one here is the Japanese version with the "5 sports, Speedtimer" all original!

Watch is ALL original except for the crystal!
Full disclosure: I purchased the watch a while back, it had had humidity in the watch, fully restored with all original parts, movement and case have ZERO rust and keeps time like a new watch does!! Case was gently polished to give its nice original shape without affecting the sharpness of the edge and lines, the case still hasa few dings and scratches but considering its age its add caracter and over polishing the case would destroy this besuty!! Minute hand had chips on it so I had my watchmaker retouch the hand but I think the lume sucked the paint and the lume on the tip of the hands has white paint above. This was bad call on my part and is the only downfall of this watch!
All in all I think its probably the best versions of the Tokei Zara one can find and that is IF YOU CAN find one!!! This watch is a comfortable on the wrist, keeps normal time like a watch should!
