Here I have a spectacular 16710 Coke Bezel from 1991.
This watch was just serviced by Van Rijk in Toronto, pressure tested, and has a full 1 year guarantee.
absolutely beautiful patina on the hour markers. The case appears unpolished and in overall good condition with some signs of wear. The beveled edges are apparent along the chamfers.
Bracelet has a few surface scuffs but overall great shape with little stretch.
The hands on this example are original tritium hands but do not match patina. I have seen a few other watches like this in the past (lagging hands). Some from original owners.
The dial is in fantastic shape and has beautiful creamy patina which is quite rare for this specific model. The clear coat on the dial shows slight signs of age. It is impossible to take a photo of and cannot be seen unless it is in the right light. I am told by many collectors that it will not become more exaggerated, but if it does it may create a much sought after tropical effect. I originally purchased the watch loving this aspect of the dial due to its vintage character on a relatively modern reference
Crystal has small scuffing on the top left. But has been fully pressure tested to its factory 100m spec
Overall this is beautiful, rarely aged 16710 with a beautiful history.
$9850.00 shipped and insured anywhere in Canada. This is an incredible price and probably won’t be found anywhere else.
I am taking more than a $1000.00 loss on this watch in less than a month due to the fact I need it gone quickly because I had another come in.
