This one is for the connoisseur, the Seiko fan boy, geek, lover of the rare and unique.
This is the Seiko 7T59-6A00 1/100 Sec Chronograph rare Sports 150.
For 7T59 afficionados, this series is quite special as the 7T59s were:
1. World's very first 1/100th second quartz chronographs.
2. Only produced from very late 1991 thru to early 1993, a short run for Seiko models.
3. Only 12 hour 1/100th second quartz chronographs ever made with Day+Date+GMT
(other than digital watches) by any manufacturer.
4. Never marketed or sold in the USA.
5. There has never been anything like them before or since in the analog watch world.
6. Have you seen the dance of the 10th and 100th second hands? Truly mesmerizing!
Features of the 7T59
1. Stainless steel case. 41mm diameter at widest point, 38.5mm at bezel, 10mm thick.
2. Water resistance 3, 10 or 15 bar (depending on the model).
3. Flat Mineral glass crystal (Limited Editions have a Sapphire crystal).
4. Nine hands.
5. Promethium-based luminous material for hr/min/sec hands and at indices.
6. Watch with bracelet weighs approximately 115 grams.
7. Hackset quartz movement with independently-adjustable
12 hour, and 24 hour hand for military time (GMT), or second time zone.
8. Day/date display with quickset change.
9. 1/100th second 12 hour chronograph features include user-realignable
hands on all chrono readouts.
10. Second crown so you can adjust the hour without having to stop it from running.
Note: The earliest verified serial number of a 7T59 is October 1991 (1Oxxxx), and the latest verified serial number is April 1993 (34xxxx).

Glass: some scratches near 10h00
Band: replaced with Speedmaster style bracelet in used condition and no name clasp
Date: 1992 approximately
Papers: No box or papers
Condition: In good used condition. Case, dial hands appear to be in good used condition. Case back in very good condition. All functions appear to work. New battery installed on 07-10-2017
