Here’s a chance to get a cool vintage diver at a reasonable price. This is a 1972 Bulova Oceanographer; known as the “Devil Diver” for its 666 feet depth rating.
Details:
40.5 mm case; bidirectional Bakelite bezel, domed acrylic crystal; 18 mm lugs; and an in-house Swiss movement!
The unique plateau hour markers are tritium and still glow briefly after light exposure. As far as I can tell the case has never been polished and has no major dings or dents. As you’ll note from the pictures, the original owner’s name is engraved on the caseback.
It looks cool on a variety of straps so I’ll include ALL of the 4 pictured (Black, brown, and red leather; red / blue NATO). All straps have been lightly worn but are in good shape.
