Consolidation and clean-up time. I’m belatedly applying my one in/in out rule.
For sale is a vintage King Seiko 5625-7000 - $850 or best reasonable offer.
Watch was purchased from a seller in Toronto. Was told that all parts are original and the case has not been polished. You’ll see from the pictures reasonable signs of wear on the case for a 50+ year old watch. The edges of the dial show some signs of age and the minute markers, especially between 1 and 3 are not crisp. I’ve tried to take detailed photos of the watch condition. The rest of the dial has the delicate sunburst effect and all applied markers and hands at crisp. The swooning about Grand Seiko today is evident in King Seiko.
Crown is appropriately signed and the medallion is clear and intact.
Based on the serial number, this watch dates to April 1969.
Keeps time and date changes happen as expected. I have not serviced the watch since I’ve owned it. The KS56 movement is “hi beat” per the dial and beats at 28,000. The watch was worn in rotation when I first got it but has been ignored for a few months now.
The watch comes with the metal bracelet received at purchase and the leather strap pictured.
Price: $850 or best reasonable offer + Flagship shipping from Ottawa. F2F with appropriate social distance arrangements are possible.
My trade list is very specific at this time so mainly looking for a sale.
Thanks for you Interest. Happy to provide additional photos or answer questions.
