This was my father's watch which he bought just after the war (WW II). It's a model 4399 in an 18k rose gold case with an unknown gold-coloured strap. According to Adam at Howard's Fine Jewellers, it features a 10-1/2 Hunter movement with 17 jewels and it keeps excellent time "...with lots of power...". The serial number is 498XXX.
The price is $4,000. I live in the Ottawa area so we could meet at a convenient ScotiaBank with a bank draft. If not, I'm sure that we can agree on a secure (for both of us) way to complete the sale.
