It’s the GMT time indeed! After recent Rolex news from the 2018 Baselworld on the revival of the classic “PEPSI” GMT Master model, I felt it was the right time for me to let one of my vintage GMT’s go!

A splendid vintage stainless steel Rolex GMT Master ref. 1675 with box and service papers - circa 1978
Stainless steel Rolex 1675 GMT Master with a Beautiful and 100% original Genuine Aged Dial and hands.
Gorgeous 100% genuine faded bezel PEPSI insert with amazing pink and light blue colours, 100% Original and genuine*stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet, perfectly running caliber 1575 movement, serial number: 5,6mil circa 1978 which makes it 40 y.o., diameter: 40mm, thickness: 12.5mm. Indeed excellent conditions for its age!*
CASE : beautiful original condition case from 1978, serial: 5,6mil*(Both the eference and serial numbers between the lugs are a perfectly readable) The case has been lightly and professionally polished by RSC last service in May 2016 and shows like new but nothing is really missing. Thick lugs and very clean case with nice solid visible side chamfers. Impeccable condition!
DIALS & HANDS : MK4 genuine original flawless matte tritium dial with nice Cream Patina. This Dial has never been restored in any way and remains originally untouched.*Tritium hands set is original to the watch and shows as well a beautiful matching cream patina.
INSERT : original and genuine faded bezel red and blue insert which has developed a gorgeous patina with pink and light blue colors. This insert is blue back. Please note that I’m including an additional like new mint ‘Pepsi’ red & blue (blue back) and black bezels.
CASE BACK : original and genuine case back stamped 1675
MOVEMENT : perfect original Rolex movement caliber 1575 serviced on 05/2016 by RSC and still under warranty. Running precisely with no issues whatsoever.
BRACELET & END LINKS : mint condition original genuine Rolex Oyster ref. 78360 with original end links 580. Bracelet has literally no stretch and is in impeccable prestige conditions. Deployment clasp code VC = 1978. This watch was rarely used and the previous owner put it on an additional Oyster bracelet 93150 later flip-lock bracelet for safety and the original oyster band was stored in the safe, therefore, the original bracelet is still like new.
SERVICE & PARTS : the Rolex Service Center service was performed in May 2016 and since then it was stored back in the safe and only wore it occasionally. Service replacement details in the pictures attached. Basically shows after the service a crystal, crown tube, bracelet spring bars and a new insert as requested, which I’m providing here along with the watch. Service invoice total was over $1,000 and it is warrantied until May 2018.
Basically the watch, in my honest opinion, is in a near mint condition or as mint as a vintage 40 y.o. watch can be! Most importantly, it is all original and not engineered or restored. As you may all know, the most important part of a vintage watch is its dial and this is absolutely mint and flawless. It shows beautifully and crispy with those original aging colors or so called patina!
I purchased the watch from the original owner in 2016 after he received it back from RSC service he safely stored away without wearing it and felt was the time to let it go in that beautiful condition.
Included in the sale, the watch, an original and genuine 1970/80’s Rolex box - inner & outer in mint conditions, copy of the service invoice and warranty card from Rolex Service Center, additional 2 bezel inserts new red & blue Pepsi + black both in mint conditions.
I tried to be as more accurate as possible but if there are any questions please feel free to ask.
In addition to that, if there is further interest I’m available to meet at the closest Rolex AD for inspections.
