For your consideration is a Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 53 Limited Edition (ref ZO9215) which I purchased from an AD in 2023. This “limited edition” was issued to commemorate the Super Sea Wolf that was first introduced in 1953. This particular edition was limited to 500 pieces. Now full disclosure, I should add that limited can also refer to the lume of this watch meaning there really isn’t any.* Apparently, this anomaly was common to the first batch of releases, oddly enough.
So with that out of the way, I can say that I have really enjoyed the ownership experience of this watch with its low profile, fit, finish and retro dial. The bracelet is sized for a 7.25” wrist and extra links are provided. There are some scuffs to the clasp and bracelet and a few marks on the case sides, all of which is commensurate with occasional use. The crystal and dial is scratch and blemish free. The watch has always been worn on the bracelet and is equipped with QR spring bars. As highlighted in the caseback photo however, one of the stems is missing which really should not hinder a strap change.
