After much deliberation, I've decided to let go off my SubC Date. It's a 6 months old Canadian watch with a signed and dated card. The watch is +-2 sec/day accurate; the date magnification is perfect and sits exactly in the middle of the date window; the bezel is perfectly aligned and the watch comes with box, papers, links, hang tags, etc. With the exception of the usual swirls and superficial scratches on the clasp, the watch is LNIB though I haven't looked at it with a loop or anything. There is absolutely no dings or dents. If someone showed me this watch and told me that they got it last week, I would totally believe them. I've owned it for 4 months and wore it 1-2 times/week on average.
I've gotten into this crazy hobby 4 years ago with a 36mm Explorer I and since then I've always owned a Rolex. For whatever reason (call it insecurity if you like), I need to have a Rolex in my collection so I am open to Rolex trades. Below are the models I am interested in (in no particular order). No vintages or beaten up pieces please. I like minty modern watches. I am also open to trading up but no PP, AP or VC please. I am not there yet...
- Explorer II Polar
- New Explorer I with lume
- SubC ND
- DJ 41 with smooth bezel (all dials)
- Bluesy
- New AK
I am also going through a Tudor phase right now and may be interested in trading down to a Black Bay or Zenith El Primero; feel free to shoot me an offer but I am picky, FYI. No multiple watch trades unless it's an offer I cannot refuse. I would also let this piece go for $9,250 and can look for my next piece myself. I am located in Toronto and would love to get this done face to face, especially if there is a trade involved. Happy to send more pictures. The watch is packed and won't be worn until it's sold or traded. I have bunch positive feedback on the forum.
